OUR STAFF

The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is the largest, most influential Dance Teacher Training and Examining Body for Classical Ballet in the world. It was founded in 1920 to reinvigorate dance teaching within the UK. The RAD now has a presence in 79 countries, with 36 offices and approximately 14,000 members worldwide. We are lucky to have three certified RAD certified teachers here and offer RAD Classes and Examinations from Primary through Advanced 2.

Patricia Tully-Osborn, Director, RAD performed with the Rockettes for over 15 years. She danced in Annie, the TV movie Leggs, Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, Disney World, Night of 100 Stars, and Super Bowl ‘88. She has a BA in Theatre and Dance from Montclair State. Pat is a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and Dance Educators of America.

Sophia Cardin began dancing here when she was three years old and now specializes in teaching our three and four year old Preschoolers. She is a certified teacher with Dance Educators of America and Music Together. When Sophia isn ’t dancing, she ’s busy running The Bay Head Cheese Shop with her parents!

Jamyn Carman, Associate Director, began dancing when the Spring Lake School of Dance opened its doors in 1986. She has been the Office Manager at Spring Lake School of Dance for the last 21 years. She has attended the Rockette Summer Intensive and the Jazz Dance World Congress. Jamyn graduated from Ithaca College in 2002 with a BA in Drama and a Dance minor.

Jordan Drzymkowski, ARAD graduated with a BA from Rider University in May 2009 with a double major in French and Dance. She received a scholarship to the Rockette Summer Intensive in 2007 and was an assistant in 2008 and 2009. Jordan completed RAD exams Primary through Advanced 2 and is a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Christa Gesior has danced at the Spring Lake School of Dance since the second year it was opened. She received her Associates Degree from Brookdale College. Christa is a certified teacher with Dance Educators of America.

Sam O'Gara attended high school at the Grunin Performing Arts Academy and just graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education and minored in Dance and Communications. Sam was selected to be a member of the 3D Dance Team at Ohio State, a pre -professional hip -hop club. Miss Sam cannot wait to share her passion, energy, and artistic voice with the dancers at Spring Lake School of Dance!
